The jaw has a set of tough yet not overly aggressive teeth which create friction against Petzl's exclusive "Curved Cam Interface". These 2 features work together to help prevent rope damage by allowing the Rescucender to slip when overloaded. A small diameter cable provides "spring action" for the cam.
