Dual IceTM combines in a single product the capabilities of an instant cold compress and refreezable ice pack while being non-toxic, non-caustic and ruggedized. Initial use of the Dual IceTM as an instant cold compress produces a pack temperature of 24 F. When refrozen and used as a cold pack the temperature cools to 16 F. Dual IceTM is packaged in a thich, 3 mil poly-bag (6 mil effective barrier) that allow the pouch to be refrozen many times and employed as a cold pack.
